How does traditional marketing keep a message visible after first contact?

Brochures, coupons, flyers, catalogs, and direct mail leave the message in a physical form people can keep, reread, carry, or share. Because the message stays in someone’s hand, bag, home, or office, it can be noticed again after the first contact.
It often stays with the customer until they are ready to check the offer, address, phone number, or service details.
This makes the message easier to return to later without searching online.
When the material is useful, such as a coupon, menu, product list, or service brochure, people have a stronger reason to keep it.
The same message can also reach another person when the material is shared at home, work, or in a local group.
This advantage becomes weaker when the material looks unimportant, is poorly designed, or gives people no clear reason to keep it.
